Kayla Gallo Therapy, LLC

What we do…

Kayla’s approach is relational, collaborative, and trauma-informed. She integrates EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and traditional talk therapy, while also bringing in attachment-based and parts-informed perspectives. She believes that when people better understand their experiences and the ways they’ve learned to cope, real and lasting change becomes possible.

Above all, Kayla is committed to creating an inclusive, affirming, and safe space and proudly supports clients of diverse identities and backgrounds.  She is an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and believes Black and Brown lives matter.  She also provides non-judgmental support regarding pregnancy, parenting, and reproductive choices.

Psychotherapist and Owner

Kayla Gallo is a fully licensed clinical social worker who cares deeply about creating a space where people can show up exactly as they are. She believes therapy works best when clients feel safe, understood, and not judged—and when there’s room to be both honest and human. Her goal is to help clients slow down, untangle what they’re carrying, and feel more connected to themselves and their lives. Her style is compassionate, honest, and deeply client-centered.

She is a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Therapist and feels honored to walk alongside clients during these vulnerable and transformative seasons of life.  Kayla has a special passion for working with individuals navigating the perinatal and postpartum journey. She has experience supporting clients managing infertility, postpartum changes and mood disorders, birth trauma, pregnancy loss, and termination for medical reasons.

Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending time with her two young daughters, relaxing with family, exploring nature, traveling, cooking (and eating), and walking her two moderately behaved corgis.
